About the Artist: Herb Randle's sun filled oil and watercolor paintings will be exhibited at the "Gallery at First Parish" from October 29th through December 13th. A combination of photographic savvy and a long commercial art career have influenced Herb Randle's skillful landscapes and figures. Herb believes that there must be a balance between control and freedom. "Painting a picture is like walking a long tightrope. If a work is too free, it can be chaotic. If it's too controlled, it can be boring." As the days get shorter and darker, treat yourself to a walk through the gallery at First Parish and enjoy summer and sun and some beautiful paintings.
