A wonderful sample of Holly's watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings, many of which reflecting her recent visits to Mexico. The exhibit consist of twenty-one original works by Holly Brooks.

Artist's Intro:

Holly Brooks, daughter of longtime FPC Parishioners Pam and Francis Brooks, returned to her interest in art after completing a masters degree in landscape architecture. The current exhibit includes twenty-one paintings done in Bisbee, Arizona and Todos Santos, Mexico over the past five years.

Artist's Bio: Holly received her MA in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University in 1989, and has taken several art degree programs and continuing education courses at Skidmore College, Maine College of Art, and Boston's Museum School. Holly hgas also received a BA in Psychology from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

About The Gallery At First Parish

The Gallery At First Parish opened September 17, 2000.

Its purpose, as described by the founders:

The mission of The Gallery At First Parish is to add another dimension
to the spiritual fabric of our lives by exhibiting the work of visual artists
who seek to contribute to a deeper understanding of the human condition.

The Gallery is intended to be a service to the parish, the artist and the wider community.
It is open to the public without charge 9 AM – 4 PM weekdays, and 9 AM – 12:30 PM Sundays.
Gallery exhibits are listed in the First Parish Event Calendar.
