Bonnie has a deep love of the environment, which she portrays through her landscape photography.
A visit to the Grand Canyon in September 2000 afforded her the opportunity to explore and photograph the many views of the Canyon. She traveled down the Colorado River in a raft and saw places that are only accessible by boat. Her varied images capture the beauty of this awe-inspiring National Park.
About the Exhibit:
This exhibit includes a variety of images taken during a fourteen-day excursion through the Grand Canyon via the Colorado River. The primary focus is large prints showing the beautiful red rock walls, the exquisite side canyons with their waterfalls and fascinating geology, and the overall scenery of the Canyon. Smaller photographs show different facets of the Canyon. All images are accompanied by text describing the geology, flora and fauna, and the river itself.
