Brief Descriptions of Some Programs & Activities Without Webpages
- Bible study on Sunday mornings at 9:30am in January
- "Writing Your Spiritual Autobiography" with Tom Wintle on Monday evenings in Lent
- Other adult education events on various topics as announced in the Parish Post
- New Member Classes Classes for those considering becoming members of First Parish, meet with Tom Wintle after church from 11:35 to 12:15 in the spring. It is important to attend all three sessions. Make-up sessions can be arranged.
- Attic Treasures: Our "thrift shop" offers household, jewelry, and some literary treasures at bargain prices. Donations are welcome during Church Office hours. Buyers and workers needed.
Open Tuesdays, 10 am to 2 pm from October to mid-May(picture below).

- Bristol Lodge Suppers: Fourth Wednesday of the month. Food preparation (heating, carving, salad making) from 3:00 to 4:20 pm in the First Parish kitchen. Cold food should be delivered to the church by 3:00. Hot food can arrive as late as 4:15. Supper is served at the Methodist Church in Waltham at the corner of Moody Street & Cherry Street. Questions? - Senior Men's Lunch Group: Known affectionately as the "Old Geezers." Bring a bag lunch and gather with Tom Wintle and others for discussion and fellowship on the 1st Tuesday of the month from October through June
- Knitters & Stitchers Group: Meets in parlor every Monday at noon for knitting and conversation
- Parish Library: Our collection of books available for borrowing, with concentration on topics of religion and personal development, also includes a children's section.
